In these terms and conditions (except where the context otherwise requires):

“Logoutt, “we” and “us” each means Logoutt Limited (registered in England and Wales with number 12835439 whose registered office is at 4 Cae’r Wylan, Llanbadarn Fawr, Aberystwyth, United Kingdom, SY23 3GY and “you” means the person booking and if different the person for whom the booking is made.

We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Any such changes will take effect immediately. It is your responsibility to read the Terms each time you submit a Booking Request and any such request shall signify that you have accepted to be bound by the latest set of Terms. The most up to date Terms are available on request.

Services, features and facilities

  • Logoutt provides spaces in the form of self-contained habitats with a bathroom (including an eco toilet and shower), kitchen, and bed area. The experience is designed for a maximum of three people and a minimum of two nights.
  • Additionally, we offer experiences provided by local partners and third-party suppliers.
  • You use all services, features, and facilities at your own risk, and Logoutt is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury related to any services, features, or facilities provided or supplied by us or third parties.
  • Information about features, facilities, and services is believed to be accurate at the time of publication. However, Logoutt cannot guarantee that these services, features, and facilities will be available during your stay.
  • All information on our website regarding prices is accurate at the time of publication, but prices may be subject to change.

Personal Details

  • In order to process your booking, Logoutt Limited requires certain information about you and your party. For more information regarding personal data, please refer to our privacy policy.
  • All personal information provided by you will remain confidential and is protected under the Data Protection Act 1998.
  • We will only use your personal information for the purposes of fulfilling your booking and providing you with our services, unless you have given us your consent to use your information for other purposes.
  • By providing us with your personal information, you consent to our use of your information in accordance with our privacy policy.

Booking and Pricing

  • By making a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, and you confirm that you, or at least one member of your party, is 18 years of age or over. You must have the authority of all persons in your party to book on their behalf. Furthermore, you are responsible for any loss or damage caused by any member of your party accompanying you.
  • If any damage or loss occurs, you must make full payment to Logoutt. Failure to do so means you are liable to meet any claims subsequently made (together with our own and the other party’s full legal costs) as a result of your actions.
  • Advance bookings are subject to minimum stays, which may vary by season. For further details, please refer to our website.
  • Bookings are not transferable.
  • Prices are per Logoutt space per night and are accurate at the time of booking. However, prices may vary from time to time, and the price payable is the price confirmed at the time of booking. Customers are advised to check the website for the most up-to-date information.
  • Unless otherwise stated, prices are based on a daily rate.

Promotions and Offers

  • Promotions, deals or offers are provided at the discretion of Logoutt and are subject to availability. Such offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and may be withdrawn at any time.
  • Retrospective refunds are not permitted against any offer or promotion advertised after a booking has been made.

Payments

  • Guests at Logoutt, agree that they may be charged for any damage caused to Logoutt property, and any fines may be taken directly from a payment card which you have provided.
  • All payments made via the Website will be made via a third party payment collection agent (e.g. Stripe or Paypal) accessible via the Website (the “Payment Services”). 
  • You may use all major debit and credit cards, or other payment methods which our Payment Services accept. However, we will not be held responsible if your preferred payment method is not accepted via our Payment Services.
  • When you make a Booking, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming that we have received your booking
  • We only accept your Booking once payment has been approved and we have debited the payment card. By making a Booking on our Website, you warrant that you are authorised to use the selected payment method. 
  • We take the security of your payment information seriously and will use all reasonable efforts to safeguard your information. However, we cannot be held responsible for any unauthorised access or use of your payment information that is beyond our control.
  • If there is an error or mistake in the processing of your payment, please contact us immediately so that we can investigate and rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
  • A security deposit of £200 is required to cover any potential incidental expenses or damages that may occur during your stay at Logoutt. The amount will be held securely using your payment card and will be held temporarily until the conclusion of your stay.

Restrictions and Occupancy 

  • The number of persons occupying the Logoutt space shall not exceed the maximum occupancy specified in the booking. Logoutt  is currently designed for adults aged over 18 only.
  • The booking of Logoutt space is only permitted to be used by the number of guests agreed on booking. 
  • No additional people should visit the property even for the daytime without the explicit written agreement of Logoutt.
  • We enforce these restrictions to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests and to prevent any damage to our property. We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines.
    • Pets: As much as we love animals, we kindly ask you to leave your furry friends at home. This is to allergy-proof the space for those coming to stay after you’ve left. 

Cancellations or Amendments 

  • We understand that changes and mistakes can happen, so please review all details carefully at the time of booking, as outlined in the booking confirmation email. If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please contact Logoutt using the details provided in your confirmation.
  • To avoid any potential costs or losses due to last-minute cancellations, we strongly recommend that guests take out appropriate insurance coverage for their stay.

Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel your reservation, please note our cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations made more than 15 days prior to your arrival date will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at a later date.
  • Cancellations made within 8-15 days before your scheduled arrival date are non-refundable and will be charged the full amount of the stay and offered the option to reschedule for a later date.
  • Cancellations made less than 8 days before your arrival date are non-refundable and will be charged the full amount of the stay, with no option to rebook.
  • Please note that early departures for any reason are non-refundable.

Reservation changes

  • In the unlikely event that we are unable to accommodate your confirmed reservation, we may need to offer an alternative. We will notify you as soon as possible if we need to make changes that significantly affect your stay or if we need to cancel your stay altogether. In such cases, we will offer you a suitable alternative or provide a refund. However, we cannot be held responsible for cancellations resulting from your failure to comply with our Booking Terms & Conditions. We also cannot be held liable for any expenses, costs, or losses you may incur due to any changes or cancellations, except where required by law.
  • Please note that minor changes or events during your stay resulting from unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control do not qualify for refunds or compensation.

Behaviour and Curtailment of Stay

  • If any member of your party behaves in a manner that causes or is likely to cause danger, distress, or upset to a third party, Logoutt, wildlife, or other guests’ property, we reserve the right to curtail your stay without prior notice. In such cases, no refunds or return travel arrangements will be made, and we will not be responsible for any expenses or costs incurred as a result of such curtailment.

Maintenance Activities During Your Stay

  • Please be aware that necessary maintenance activities may occur within the accommodation during your stay, and no compensation will be provided as a result.

Smoking

  • Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited inside and outside of the Logoutt space and on the Host’s land and property.
  • Failure to comply with this policy may result in a fine of £200 for each night that the Logoutt space is unable to be occupied after your stay if you are found to have smoked inside of it.
  • We take smoking very seriously as it can cause damage to our property and harm the health of our guests. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our space smoke-free.

Check-In & Check-Out 

  • Check-in time on your day of arrival is from 3 pm, while check-out time on your departure day is 10:30 am.
  • We do not provide cleaning services during your stay. Bed linen and towels are included in the booking price.

On Departure: Leave No Trace

  • Please help us maintain our high standards by leaving your accommodation and its contents in a clean and tidy condition as you found it.
  • We operate a “Leave No Trace” policy and request that guests leave the Logoutt property and the site clean and tidy upon departure. Please take all rubbish and recycling with you. We do provide bins on site for disposal of rubbish.
  • Logoutt reserves the right to charge you a cleaning fee for the removal of any rubbish that requires extra cleaning.

Prohibition of Drone Use

  • The use of drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is strictly prohibited on or around the Logoutt property without prior written permission from Logoutt and the Host. This prohibition is in place to ensure the safety, privacy, and peaceful enjoyment of all guests and the host. 
  • Any unauthorised drone use may result in immediate termination of the guest’s stay and liability for any damages or losses caused. By booking with Logoutt, the guest agrees to comply with this prohibition and indemnifies Logoutt and the Host from any claims arising from unauthorised drone use.

Damages

  • The guest accepts full responsibility for any damages or theft caused by themselves or their accompanying party to the Logoutt property or its contents. They agree to report any damages or stolen items promptly and authorise the charges for repair, replacement, or cleaning to be made to the provided payment card. Any stolen items will be valued at the replacement cost, and this amount will be charged to the guest’s provided payment card. Failure to report damages or theft, or settle associated costs may result in legal action. Logoutt and the Host are not liable for personal injury or loss of belongings. 
  • A fee of £25 will be charged for each lost key that needs to be replaced.
  • Logoutt reserves the right to charge your credit card for any losses or damages that may occur.
  • The handbook will provide guidelines on how to use the composting toilet. If you fail to follow these instructions, such as by adding non-compostable items to the chamber, a Cleaning Fee will be applied to your credit card.

Safety, Fire Pit and Noise 

  • Acknowledging the Importance of Fire Safety : The guest acknowledges the importance of fire safety in preserving the natural environment and ensuring a memorable outdoor experience for future guests. By booking a stay at Logoutt and agreeing to these terms, the guest agrees to adhere to the fire safety policy outlined below:
  • Fires Only Permitted in Designated Fire Pits : Ensuring safety and a positive experience for all guests is a priority for Logoutt. Fires are only permitted in designated fire pits provided by Logoutt. The guest must use these fire pits with caution and follow all fire safety guidelines provided on-site.
  • Responsibilities for Fire Pit Usage : Fire pit must never be left unattended by the guest. It is the guest’s responsibility to properly extinguish the fire pit before leaving the area.
  • Proper Disposal of Food and Waste : The guest agrees not to leave food or rubbish outside, and to properly dispose of all waste in designated bins.
  • Maintaining a Peaceful Environment : Playing music outside of the Logoutt space is not permitted, in order to maintain a peaceful environment for all guests. The guest agrees to refrain from any disruptive noise that may disturb others.
  • Understanding and Accepting Fire Safety Policy : By booking with Logoutt and agreeing to these terms, the guest confirms their understanding of the fire safety policy and accepts full responsibility for their compliance. Non-compliance with safety measures, unattended fire pit, improper waste disposal, or excessive noise may result in penalties or termination of the stay without refund.

Safety Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for Personal Property  & Logoutt Security : The guest is responsible for closing windows and securely locking the Logoutt whenever they are not present on the site. Logoutt cannot be held accountable for the guest’s personal belongings that are not properly secured inside the Logoutt space.
  • Bicycles Rental and Responsibilities : Logoutt provides guests with the opportunity to rent bicycles during their stay for a fixed fee. This fee is payable at the time of booking.
    • Logoutt is not responsible for personal injuries or accidents that may occur during the use of the rented bicycles. We strongly recommend the use of the provided helmets and adherence to all road safety regulations for your protection. It is your responsibility to properly handle and care for the rented bicycles and helmets. In the event of loss or damage due to negligence, you may be liable for additional charges to cover repair or replacement costs.
  • Ensuring Personal Safety and Rural Location : It is your responsibility to ensure your own safety while on the Logoutt space and property. Please be aware that Logoutt spaces are typically located in rural and underdeveloped areas, which may not be inhabited by the landowner year-round.
  • Acknowledging Weather Risks in Rural Areas : In rural areas, extreme weather events can pose significant dangers. You must acknowledge and consider these risks when travelling to and staying at a Logoutt.
  • Staying Within Designated Areas : During your stay, it is crucial to remain within the designated area. Without explicit permission, you are not allowed to approach or enter the landowner’s dwelling or any other premises.
  • Responsibility for Opening and Closing Gates : If you encounter any gates on the property, it is your responsibility to open and close them immediately after passing through. Failure to close any gates opened by you may result in the escape of livestock or other animals owned by the landowner. Any loss or damage resulting from the failure to close gates will be your responsibility.
  • Insurance Coverage and Travel Insurance : It is your responsibility to verify that your insurance coverage is appropriate for your needs and for the duration of your stay. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance to safeguard your stay at Logoutt.
  • Acknowledgment and Agreement with Responsibilities : Please read and understand these terms and conditions before making your booking. By proceeding with the booking, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the responsibilities outlined above.

Unforeseen Circumstances 

  • Logoutt cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. These circumstances, known as “force majeure,” include events that even with all due care, Logoutt could not foresee or avoid. 
  • Force majeure events may include, but are not limited to, the destruction or damage of your accommodation due to fire, flood, explosion, storm, break-in, criminal damage, riots or civil strife, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity, epidemic, and other similar situations beyond Logoutt’s control. 

Disclaimer of Liability and Assumption of Risks

Please read this section carefully as it details the inherent risks associated with the use of Logoutt’s spaces and experiences, and establishes our liability limitations.

Acknowledgement of Inherent Risks:

    • By choosing to utilise Logoutt’s services and properties, you willingly acknowledge and accept that such experiences inherently possess certain risks, including but not limited to:
    • Engagement with rugged, natural environments.
    • Proximity to open water bodies, such as lakes, ponds, waterfalls, streams, and rivers.
    • Presence of woodland areas and walking trails.
    • Encountering high drops in the landscape.
  • Utilisation of Logoutt Spaces – At Your Own Risk: It is explicitly agreed that your use of the Logoutt space and experiences is at your sole risk. Logoutt shall not be held accountable or liable for any injuries, accidents or mishaps that may occur during your use of our space and experiences.
  • Personal Possessions – Assumed Responsibility: Logoutt assumes no responsibility for the safety, loss or damage of your personal belongings while within the Logoutt space, and Host’s property and land. It remains your responsibility to safeguard your belongings, exercising due care and attention at all times.
  • Guest Liability – Personal Conduct : You are singularly responsible for your actions and conduct during your stay at any Logoutt property. Logoutt will not be held accountable for any negligent actions or behaviours on your part.
  • Limitation of Liability: Our liability is firmly limited to the services booked via the Logoutt website, in accordance with the Booking Terms & Conditions valid at the time of your booking. We will not entertain any other form of liability claims.
  • Liability Exceptions: It is important to note that nothing within this section aims to limit or exclude Logoutt’s liability for:
    • Death or personal injury caused as a result of Logoutt’s negligence.
    • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation on the part of Logoutt.
    • Any other matter wherein it would be illegal or unlawful for us to limit or exclude our liability.  
    • Please note that this section is an essential part of the terms and conditions that govern your use of Logoutt sites. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and accept the risks involved and agree to release Logoutt from any liability beyond what is specified herein.
  • Indemnity for Death or Personal Injury: Logoutt shall not bear any liability for death or personal injury unless it directly results from the negligence of Logoutt. However, Logoutt accepts no responsibility for the safety, loss, or damage of the guest’s possessions while on Logoutt’s properties or land, unless said damage or loss is directly attributable to negligence on the part of Logoutt or its employees.
  • Liability for Provided Equipment:Logoutt offers guests the use of certain equipment, including but not limited to bicycles and helmets. Although these are maintained to the best of our abilities, use of such equipment is at the guests’ own risk. Logoutt cannot be held liable for any injuries, accidents or mishaps that may occur as a result of using this equipment. Furthermore, any damages to or loss of this equipment due to guest negligence may result in additional charges for repair or replacement.

Food and Beverage Consumption:

  • Logoutt may facilitate food and beverage experiences with local suppliers. If any food or beverages are purchased  as part of your experience with Logoutt, it is your responsibility to communicate any dietary restrictions or food allergies prior to your arrival. While we aim to cater to a variety of dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that all food and beverage items will be free of allergens. Please be aware that Logoutt bears no responsibility for any health issues or reactions that may arise from their consumption or from the consumption of  your own food and beverages.

Environmental Responsibility:

  • Guests are expected to respect the natural environment that Logoutt is a part of. This includes, but is not limited to disposing of waste properly, avoiding damage to plant life, and not disturbing local wildlife. Guests found to be in violation of this policy may be asked to leave and could be held liable for any damage caused. Any activities that could harm the local ecosystem or disrupt the natural beauty of Logoutt are strictly prohibited. By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree to leave our natural surroundings in the same state in which you found them, allowing future guests to fully enjoy their Logoutt experience.

Website Content, Security, and Availability

  • Information Accuracy and Third-Party Websites: Logoutt cannot be held responsible for the accuracy, content, or availability of information about our accommodation found on third-party websites. Furthermore, we are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of any third-party websites that have links to or from the Logoutt website.
  • Virus Protection and Device Security: We take reasonable measures to ensure that the Website is free from viruses or other malicious code. However, it is recommended that users maintain up-to-date anti-virus software on their devices as a precaution. Users should also perform virus checks on any materials downloaded from the Website and regularly scan for the presence of viruses and other malicious code.
  • Exclusion of Liability for Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any damage or loss caused by viruses or other harmful components originating or contracted from the Website.

Photographs, Descriptions, Invalid Provisions, Waiver, and Transfer of Rights

They are not legally binding and do not form part of the contract between you and us.

However, we reserve the right to transfer all or any of our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation.   • All copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights for all material and content provided on the Website or in relation to Bookings will remain the exclusive property of Logoutt or our licensors.
  • You are granted permission to use the material, data, and content from our Website solely for personal use. Any other use, including copying, reproducing, transmitting, publishing, displaying, distributing, commercially exploiting, or creating derivative works of the material, data, and content on the Website, is strictly prohibited without the express prior written permission from a formally appointed director of Logoutt.
  • Please note that if you use or plan to use our intellectual property for non-personal, non-recreational, or commercial purposes, we reserve the right to pursue legal action against you, seeking damages and injunctive relief.

Law : These Terms and any non-contractual obligations relating to these Terms and all disputes shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
