Going through the B Corp assessment has been a challenging but inspirational journey for us. This comprehensive evaluation extends across every aspect of our business, from our governance structure to our supply chain and beyond. It has been an opportunity for us to identify areas where we can improve and make changes for a positive impact.
At Logoutt, our principle of ‘Creating with Consciousness’ guides us. We’re at the beginning of our journey, but we’re committed to making an impact by taking mindful decisions at every stage to minimise our environmental footprint. Our off-grid spaces are thoughtfully designed, considering every detail – from foundations to finishing touches – with a primary focus on sustainability. Where we can, we choose locally sourced materials.
Our commitment to sustainable practices extends past the build, where we always opt for greener choices where possible. Logoutt is designed to function as an off-grid space, utilising innovative technologies to conserve water and energy.
Local Impact
Logoutt creates opportunities for responsible and diversified land use that benefits our hosts. We consciously choose our partners, aligning ourselves with those who share our vision towards sustainable living. Collectively, our aspiration is to nurture a robust ecosystem that respects the integrity of the natural world, while preserving the local culture and heritage.
Local impact within the communities we operate in is at the core of our mission to facilitate growth opportunities for local businesses, traditional craftsmanship and suppliers by connecting them with our conscious customers.
Sharing with Humanity
Equally, we aim to contribute positively on a global scale, resonating with our ethos of ‘Sharing with Humanity’. A testament to this commitment is our proactive involvement in circular economy initiatives, underlined by our campaign to provide over 1,000 kilograms of winter clothing to underserved communities in the Himalayas.
We’ve also raised over £15,000 last year for flood relief efforts in South Asia, extending emergency assistance to more than 250 families. These initiatives not only reflect our dedication to societal well-being but also highlight the actionable steps we are taking to promote sustainability and resource efficiency on a broader scale.
